As Perspectives alumni you are the fruit of a dedicated networking effort that has worked diligently to see mission vision and education made available throughout your city. That's why we strongly encourage you to explore how you can contribute to the Perspectives Task Force in your city.

If there hasn't been a class in your city for some time perhaps God's is speaking to you about seeing a new team raised up. If that's you, click here for more information on how to get involved!


Additional Citywide Networking opportunities can include:

  • Read through the following articles: How to Foment a City-Wide Mission Movement by Michael Jaffarian, and Building a Strong Web of Relationships by David Mays.
  • See if your city is on Go Connect’s list of Citywide Networks. If it is, contact the leadership to see how you can assist them.
  • Become familiar with your city's Networking Web Page by clicking here. If you are from a smaller city that's not listed, don't worry, Go Connect will put up a page for any city that displays a heart for networking.   • If your city has no identifiable networking team, begin praying for God to raise up such an effort using: One Minute of Prayer for Your City and Fifteen Key Prayers for Your City.
  • Visit church, campus and agency leaders and cast the vision for networking your city for prayer and mission. Once you've sensed there's enough interest, call a meeting for exploring next steps.
  • Begin a database of all the key mission and prayer contacts within the churches, campus fellowships and mission ministries of your city.
  • Provide communications for all your contacts - including timely reports on progress, upcoming events, prayer needs, etc.. Also, channel praise reports and prayer needs to the Citywide Intercessors, once a team is established.
