What is a "Pre-Candidate"?
A Pre-Candidate is someone who has sensed a call to pursue vocational missionary service
and who is currently not yet an accepted missionary candidate of any particular
sending agency.
Because the vast majority of pre-candidates never make it
to the field, pre-candidates need strong encouragement and wise counsel—both rare commodities at the current time.
As a means of providing encouragement to pre-candidates, a
new mission mobilization structure has been proposed, called Pre-Candidate
Fellowships or Future Missionary Clubs.
