Every neighborhood and culture of the world is different. In the same way, every neighborhood missionary has different skills, gifts, and passions. There is no one program or system could possibility be prescriptive to work in every situation. There are, however, some basic ideas that can be used to help every Christian in the world be a missionary in their own neighborhood culture.
As overseas missionaries arrive on their foreign field, there are certain basic principles that they use to be as successful as possible. We have narrowed these down to three ideas that neighborhood missionaries can use to help them have high impact in their communities. They include: 1) Immerse yourself in your community, 2) Discover the needs of the community, and 3) Become a resource connector to people in the neighborhood who need a touch of Christ. On October 16th from 9am to 1pm, Please join us as we join hands together as we reach our neighborhoods for Jesus. This practical training will focus on strategies to share the love of Christ with your neighbors and easy ways to share the Gospel story with them. 
One of the ways mobilizes small groups, youth groups, and families is to serve in 3 to 4 day missional experience called a "Mission Plunge". Team members discover what it's like to live without anything, they learn how to share their faith in practical ways, they serve the unfortunate sectors of society and continue the steps to living a transformed life and they walk like Jesus walked.
